School News

We received mid quarter reports last week and Joy and Patience both have all A's. We are very pleased. Aurora is settling in much better now. She missed so much in the beginning, so it took her a little while to catch on to the classroom procedures in 1st grade. She seems to be liking it. Logan enjoyed his field trip. I was able to go too. It was a lot of fun to see the children react to so many fish. They were also able to feed them. There is a little 3 year old in his classroom who is as cute as can be. She is very quiet. I have never heard her speak. She was a little afraid of feeding the fish, so I held her and tossed out food in the tanks and it made the fish jump out of the water. She really enjoyed that. It was Logan's first time on a school bus. We had a lot of fun singing songs.

Joy and Patience both received strong marks on their "MAP" test scores. There is a ceremony next week through the school district to recognize all the children's efforts.

I will stop with that tonight. Time to watch Small-ville.
